After thingymajig tore into me earlier on this thread, I notice rewired, who had made a point of not thanking my previous posts but had done for other posters... must have a weak and soft moment. rewired went back to give my posts in this thread to that point a few supporting thanks. Thank you ofc rewired, but it just struck me funny and gave me an insight. (Although I'm not after any thanks whatsoever with my posts on this thread. It has a much greater useful purpose for me, and hopefully for others too.)
reweird is an old poster who ran off in Feb/March time and has came back re-incarnated.
they're a perma bear who thanks posters who are bearish but you'll notice he doesn't thank all the bearish posters. he doesn't thank you, Harry Powell (as he thinks they're another old poster) and a couple of others too. you were the ones that gave him a bit of grief back in the day - do you know who i'm talking about?0 -
stop thinking too much dopester... it's a good thread

Well, I can't work it out...pls tell me who rewired is. A pm will suffice.:o
Dopestar won't wear out his brain...it seems to be a busy brain that never tires. Very handy type of brain to have in life too....I wish mine worked @ 3.30am. Who knows what I could achieve?0 -

Brighton really does rock
What’s more sickening than the people who sing Brighton’s praises? The fact they’re absolutely right

PB info: 04 September 2009: Initial entry found......we rented a basement flat on the seafront part of this crescent. O....M...G.......
I can honestly say that living in my Nil By Mouth SE London concrete tower block flat ~(even though it was 1st floor and near all the melee) was better value than living here.
Just to add to the Pimp My Sale thread...whoever buys this must be sure they like damp, weevils and miserable sad ar$ neighbours....and traffic noise...lots of it too....and wee.
The plus to this flat is that it is above ground level.....otherwise people pee in your courtyard...all the time. Winter, Summer.....the courtyards are just informal public urinals. And we lived 3 doors down from Cate Blanchetts house....she has sold now (?)..and her courtyard was used as a loo too.
Regency? Lovely to look at but a sod to live in. That's why they don't build houses like that anymore.
They have lightwells in the middle of the building and our bedrooms looked out onto it......with running dirty water sloshing down the walls from blocked overflows etc.....and the smell. We couldn't ever open the window.
The service charges were horrendous too.
£975 pcm and it was damp, dingy, we had weevils everywhere, an open drain in the kitchen galley bit (covered with lino....like I wouldn't notice.) and OH fell 2' through the rotten wooden floor of the utility area when we moved in. Actually, it was quite funny had I not been so tragically disapointed by it all.......at the viewing it all seemed OK.0 -
