hotpoint ffa64 fault

hi i was wandering if anyone can give me some advice on my hotpoint fridge freezer. a few dats ago the freezer high temperature light came on then i awoke next day 2 find it had defrosted have tried adjusting the temperature but to no avail. now this morning the fridge has stopped working aswell. the light still works and it is still making the usual noise but is not freezing or going cold. is this fixable or do i need to replace it is 3 years old thank you.
