Bus journeys - can I take my dog?

    Well Bunny, as you no doubt realise now, Vietnamese eat dog so they do consider them livestock, and it would of course be odd for them to have one travelling on the bus with them.

    Of course in hindsight they may be embarrassed about their behaviour if they've learned that dogs are cherished pets here in the UK, but it just proves that visitors to any country should swot up on the customs of their hosts.

    Incidentally I love dogs, we have 6 in the family...and if ever I needed to take them on a bus I hope it would be allowed, ...now cats, that's a different matter ;-)
