ARRGGHHH! someone drove into my partners car!!
Just after some advice!
My partner left his car parked on the road whilst visiting a friends house. He wasnt in the house very long and when he came back out to the car there was a rather large dent in the drivers side door and a note on the front. (Although how you manage to hit a bright yellow sports car is beyond me!! not as if you couldnt see it!!)
The lady involved has kindly left us her details and has been helpful so far. What happens now, will she be held fully responsible as he wasnt even in the car at the time?? i imagine her insurance will cover the damage?
Any help with what should happen next please guys? Cheers

she hit a parked car, yes her insurance will pay you for everything, you wont have to pay a thing. sit back and relax!Target Savings by end 2009: 20,000
current savings: 20,500 (target hit yippee!)
Debts: 8000 (student loan so doesnt count)
new target savings by Feb 2010: 30,0000 -
ring insurance and be thankful that she was the honest type0

Oh great!! We can stop stressing then!! she has contacted her insurnace and she needs his details now, so i take it from that, that her insurance are sorting it anyway!
All i can say is thank god there are still some honest people out there!!0 -
You were very lucky that she was an honest lady and left a note. I suspect most would have b*ggered off smartish..Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0

There's this quite common thing you have to have when you drive...
Can't remember it's full name...hhmmm...could it be a driving licence?!?!
It's quite nice that the woman left her number for you. I'd be very pleased to have that when mine got a nice scratch down it.0
