Any one running the above software. I was running it with a speedtouch 576 router without any problems. Now it doesnt like the router firewall and has disabled PC-cillins firewall and wireless network software. I have turned off my router firewall and tried to restart PC-Cillin firewall but to no avail.
If I uninstall PC-cillin will i need anither software key to reinstall it. Its driving me mad as it was working fine for months.
Any ideas

Now it doesnt like the router firewall - what happened, a message?
Are you sure you don't have an infection of some kind? I wouldn't disable both firewalls..

I tried disabling the router firewall and restarting the PC-cillin one. Whilst disconnected from the net etc. That didnt work. At the moment ive got my router firewall running. So im covered by that. Its just annoying that the software firewall wont work.0

This is a common thing. There are many applications where the software firewall and router firewall conflict. I'm not a network engineer by any means, so can't give you the technis of it, but I have found in my experience that the router firewall really is not necessary. I'm not trying to downplay the effectiveness of that firewall, particularly for SYN and UDP flood attacks that can cripple your internet usage until you restart the router, but a decent software firewall that has explicit program and port controls can work just as well.
Personally, unless you're running applications that are connection to lots of people simultaneously and sending lots of data over those connections (such as multi-cunnect P2P applications) I would not worry about not having the router firewall up. If the software firewall works without it, all well and good. Just make sure that the route between the outside world, through your router, your firewall and your pc is clear. Sometimes I find it useful to actually set port 80 as a useable port in the router, just in case, so sometimes routers can be awkward and conflict at random times for no reason.
As a recommendation, I use McAfee Firewall Plus myself, and have no complaints. I'd stay away from Symantec products, I ahve found them to highly resource intrusive, even on the fastest of machines, and they can really slow your system down. Plus the interface is not as user-friendly as some of the other programs out there. Tiny Personal Firewall is also a good recommendation that I have heard from other users.
Hope this helps.
Cheers and take care.

I have Cillin 2006 and use a netgear wireless router with firewall with no problem.
When I was on the phone to Netgear they said I should disable the software firewall as I only need the hardware one in the router which provides better protection.
This could be the reason yours was disabled, it might be worth a phone call and I think you will find its better sticking with the router firewall..0
