Did you check ALL their postal options as it normally gives you the most expensive leaving you to find the cheaper rates in the drop down box.
  • i took the cheapest option ... them it said .. ''not available to this address'' and up'ed it to 15 quid....
what a rip off for us N.I. moneysavers

Has anyone got one of these yet? What are the 12 cards it reads - ebuyer info is useless!
    hmmmmmm
  • I've always found eBuyer a complete rip-off for sending to N.I. and always have to go elsewhere to buy.

I'd like to know how they justify this >:(

To be fair to ebuyer (and other online retailers) the cost of shipping to NI isn't something they are trying to profiteer from.

Unfortunately most couriers (except RM) charge a hefty premium for having to send a package from the mainland to Ireland, and the online retailers just pass this cost on to the customer.

Picking a courier at random, Parcel2Go charge 8.99+VAT for next day shipping within the UK (excluding NI, IoW), yet want 14.99+VAT and it will take 3 days to ship to NI, IoW etc.

Might be worth getting it delivered to someone you know on the UK mainland, and asking them nicely to Royal Mail it to you!

    HTH - Rufus.
