0% on purchases - how do I rack up charges?

Apart from the obvious issue of finding somewhere that will take the coins. I'd guess you'd have to make an appointment at the bank and they would look to test each of the coins, so unless you rate your time at a very low rate its probably not worth it!0

Asking back may not work as they will probably credit it back to the card - if you get a cheque then ok.
Pretty sure that you will not be able to pay mortgage directly with CC - the lender will not accept. Happy to be made aware of any exceptions.
You'd think that Councils would be switched on and insist that the card is refunded however use of cheques in government transactions is common. Unrelated.... I purchased a toaster on a credit card and it broke. I took it back to the shop and they offered a full refund to my card. I said that I no longer had that card so the shop gave me a refund in Gift Vouchers. The point is.... everything is negotiable.
As for the mortgage side of things, I must have cycled 30K through Northern Rock using Egg Money.0
