  • I exchanged my clubcard vouchers for Goldsmith's vouchers, me and my OH are off there to treat ourselves to new watches for 25% equivalent of the normal price.

apologies if this is a silly question, but how do you accumulate enough vouchers to be able to do that. is it just 'shop loads at Tesco' (I barely accumulate enough points for a £3-4 vouchers every 1-2 months) or is there some better way which I dont know about?

Part of the Furniture 10,000 Posts Name Dropper Combo Breaker
As an aside..we see lots of mens watch type glossy lifestyle ads in mags for the likes of Breitling,Raymond weil etc etc..

How many of these names actually have their own workshops in which craftsamen make these watches?

I dont want to pay top dollar for some cheap Chinese made crap with a posh sounding name and a big price tag..?
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..

This was about 18 months worth, taking advantage of extra points offers too, and normal shopping at Tesco! Also got my daughter putting her petrol on the clubcard too, and I operate two different accounts to get the extra points vouchers twice over!

I don't accumulate nearly as many points ad a lot of people on here - there's a thread somewhere about how to maximise your points too if you are interested.

I bought myself a very nice Accurist watch from Argos earlier this year. It was on special offer reduced from £95 TO £25. My previous watch was also a seriously reduced Accurist but it got broken in a fall. They do seem to have some serious reductions at times and they also have an excellent selection.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.
  • hmm, funny, cos i'm 29 and wouldn't wear any of those!

Here's my current watch, had it for 3 years now - http://www.amazon.com/Fossil-Mens-Speedway-watch-TI5070/dp/B00073G90A

I fancy this one myself :

This one is right up my street also:

Also, a Citizen mechanism is going to be a lot better at keeping time than a 'designer clothes brand' watch
