hello all this is my first post so hope i am in right room?
my daughter would like a laptop for christmas she would only want to play games like sims and go to you tube yet people have said that laptop graphics card would not support games like sims is there any way round this? have about £500 max for this.

500 quid should get you a decent laptop for your daughter try ebuyer.com or dell.co.uk
ie on ebuyer theres a dual core t6600 with a ati hd4570 graphics chipset and 4gb ddr 2 ram thats got windows 7 on and its 490 pounds should be more than enough for the sims etc .0 -

More suitable is the ACER ASPIRE 7735G 17" £438 Argos return with 12 month warranty
Toshiba Satellite L500-128 £463 Same as above.
Fujitsu XA 3530 17" £464 Same as above
I like Toshiba. £28 to upgrade to Windows 7.0
