Application for credit card with good credit

hello,
my credit score is good and have a halifax all in one card, yet another turned me down.
My question is ....should i give in the electoral roll info from my credit report when applying and match it when applying for credit card?I think this is where i went wrong by writing down that i live here longer than the electoral roll states.

hope someone can advise me.
thanx.

Why how many addresses have you got?
Just be honest and give the address where you live now and state any previous addresses if it asks.

You will more likely to be accepted at where the majority of credit is running, but accounts can be closed if you fail to give true information, or apply and then all of a sudden change the address when the accoutn is opened.
