After the resounding sucess of the burnt pan suggestions, I wonder if I might ask for help with regard to a stain on the front of Tshirt. I think it may be oil as from chinese or curry meal. (Not sure but think this the most likely). It has gone through the wash several times and stain is still very noticable.... is there…

Biro / pen / ink stains on shirts come off well with methylated or surgical spirit - or, if your daughter hasn't just had her ears pierced and you don't have any around, you can get a little bottle of Stain Devil which is the same thing.
Or vodka might work also - isn't it a similar chemical??????
(seems a bit of a waste of vodka though, unless it's that c**p stuff from Lidl)
