Let me guess, 0.15% again. If it were 0.25% they would announce it now, wouldn't they?

By my reckoning they already owe us .2% so with the new rise thats .45% or nearly .5%, come on ING you know you can do it get back to the top of the charts, then I woke up.
  • I'm hoping for the rate to increase to 5% ;), but at least the rate is increasing quite soon, in just over 3 weeks time, on 1st September AND this hoped-for rate of 5% - or more - is NOT an introductory rate ;D.

I want to be a good saver, but I find it difficult to control my temptation to spend :o .

    I owe £1,247 more than I have in savings :( .

I agree Leia, 5% would be good and its a very flexible account.

I am afraid that a .15% rise to 5% will not increase INGs popularlity with savers remember that all those ahead of ING at present will be raising their rates (more than likely), it would be nice to see a full .25% this time might persuade the punters.

May not, I understand that the introductory offer from Cahoot for example is fixed at the 5.5 % for the 12 month period.
  • Yes, and ING could catch up in the meantime ;).

Seriously though, I am looking forward to when easy access savings a/cs pay 6.30% gross, or 5.04% net ;D ;D.
