sick pay while temporarily employed

Hi
I have a permanent lecturing post at college but I also lecture one evening per week which is a temporary contract. I have been off ill and I got full pay for working during the day but did not get paid for my evening lectures.even although I work for the same college. I thought temporary contracts and permanent contracts had to be treated the same. Am I not entitled to sick pay for day and evening classes? Please help.
Thank you

If it were two seperate employers and the conditions were met then I think you would have a case. Really not sure what happens when its two jobs with the same employer though. I would tend to think that they dont have to pay you twice.
