Welcome Finance

Hi I started a claim with welcome finance back im March this year.

I phoned head office to see if they would give me my account number of a loan which was paid of in Sept 06. The lady on phone was happy enough to give me the number:T. So away I went to start the letters (also have claim for current loan with them) I sent 2 letters recorded delivery for each loan and got no response.

After 8 weeks I contacted FOS with all the details and have just received letter today to say they have upheld my complaint, but I also received a letter from Welcome today with details of loan it turns out that it was the wrong account number they had given me for Sept 06 loan and it was for a loan i had with them for Jan 06 (which i had completly forgot about:rotfl:) so had to get back in touch with adjudicator today to explain everything and she is getting in touch with welcome about this and has said she is adding it to my original complaint so won`t have to go through all the waiting again.

I`m so happy about this. It`s all thanks to this wonderful site.

I have to say Di 3004 you are a star on this forum and it was reading your advice to others that pushed me to do this so have to say big thanks to you :beer:.

Will update again as soon as i find out how much that I am getting back.
