I am getting flooded with charges, and cant stop it.

credit card is £1100 limit, I am a full time student and lost my job about 6 months ago. since then I have only been paying what i can. In september i made a payment of £150 brought my balance into about £1,000. and now It is £1270 due to charges + APR I have phoned them up explaining my situation, and if they can stop accuring any charges, so i can just pay it off and get rid of it.... but they wont listen and are still adding charges onto it.

They keep phoning me + sending me letters, I do pay when i can, but it just seems no point anymore because its like i am just paying for the charges, and my balance is getting higher instead of lower, without even using my card..

Am not sure what to do. :(

thanks for all advice
