Disabled and want to go to college - will I lose benefits?

According to the info the college has given me, if you are on low income/benefits you can apply for help from the college for fees and if you are doing a level2 or a level 3 course you can get fees covered if you aged between 19 and 24, which I am.

Then it says the learner support fund can be applied to for regestration fees books, travel and equipment.

I get low rate mobility but its only £18 a week and since I cant use public transport that will not cover the travel, I can contribute this money but it would cost around £50 a week to travel to college, although I know there is a contract with a taxi firm and also voluntary travel places ( mileage paid ) which the college use but I still doubt the £18 would cover those services.
