Disabled and want to go to college - will I lose benefits?

If it's not degree level, then the finance and funding is completely different. You can't claim grants and loans from student finance.
For travel, they may argue that you use your DLA mobility. (if you receive it)
According to the info the college has given me, if you are on low income/benefits you can apply for help from the college for fees and if you are doing a level2 or a level 3 course you can get fees covered if you aged between 19 and 24, which I am.
Then it says the learner support fund can be applied to for regestration fees books, travel and equipment.
I get low rate mobility but its only £18 a week and since I cant use public transport that will not cover the travel, I can contribute this money but it would cost around £50 a week to travel to college, although I know there is a contract with a taxi firm and also voluntary travel places ( mileage paid ) which the college use but I still doubt the £18 would cover those services.0
