multi region hack for sony dvp ns36

Hi,
I really need to play region 1 discs on my dvd player but it is not multi region. I have tried to find info on the web but to no avail.

Is there a simple method to convert my DVD player to multi region (it is region 2 at present)

Sony's usually aren't that easy to hack. If they can, it's usually by the use of a One-for-All remote or similar universal remote.

Just search for your make and model -usually a combo of pressing buttons on remote and machine.

Doubtful with the standard remote for a SONY. The OP will require a remote like previously mentioned.
