  • This gives me hope then!, have just cleared my oh's A&L card that had hiked up to 34% over the last couple of years, with any luck they may write to us and offer a deal!!!

    Virgin just wrote to me today raising my APR by about 8 points !! the b*****ds. I will close the card and pay it off. I only ever used it for balance transfers anyway. I must say it is the worst CC in the world, always changing the payment date, constantly upping the limit to try and encourage you to spend more and now dropping your rate suspiciously just before Christmas.

    You would have thought that they would be more responsible with the credit crunch or is that asking too much of any financial institution.?
