I know a callthrough that's only 5p/min from BT, and beats the cheapest on the MSE callchecker!

0844 574 0574 5p/min at all times.

Can't post link to the website as i'm new user which is a pain, just google qxdial.

Hope it saves you some money :D

Although, as usual with gateway numbers, users should bear in mind that they will start paying after dialling the eleventh digit of the gateway number (i.e. before they even start dialling their target mobile's number) and will pay for a failed or unanswered call.
Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.

    Hi Heinz,

You make fair point, just the way instant dial services work.

Like with any call you make have to bear in mind, the connection/minimum charge (if any) that apply, and cost of the call itself all of what your telecom provider apply. (excludes calls made in free call packages that are free).

With all callthroughs except freefone you pay as soon as you access the service/dial the number, however to save money you make make follow on calls by pressing ##

    So money saving tip:

If you have a few call to make, or go through to voicemail, you can make futher calls on the same call/whilst connected by pressing the hash key "#" twice at the end of the call, thus saving on connection charges.

Ypaymore I don't work for qxdial, i'm just a happy user, and have had interest in calling services for some time, it not the first time I made a recommendation, and won't be the last, and about many other things here and elsewhere.

Yes, i'm a new user, have to start somewhere!

I posted about the two services as they are better then the current offerings on here, and are a user myself.

If you know of any better, do let me know.
