Hello,
I used to use o2 for my phone contract but in the last 8 months of my contract I recieved a phone call from a company called phones 4 free, they offered to pay my existing contract off for the remainder of its life as long as I took out a new cheaper contract with 3mobile , I also negotiated £10 less every month off the new contract.
I noticed that I have not been payed any money by the third party (mobiles4free) and now when I try and call them the number is no longer in service (I'm guessing they have gone into administration)
My questions is simply this, are 3 now liable for the unpaid reimbursements and am I still tied into the remainder of the 18 month contract with three or can I cancel it on the grounds that I was mis-sold the contract,
please take into account that there was no written contract it was entirely verbal which as I understand is still legally binding.
If I am able to claim back the money and/or end my contract and 3mobile are uncooperative what would be the next logical step?
Your help is very much appreciated

You didn't deal with 3mobile, you dealt with some 3rd party broker that have nothing to do with the phone company other than getting some commision from them. 3mobile are not liable for your reimbursement and no you cannot cancel the contract.0
