Trouble with Sunflex doors?

Hi there,

Is anyone else experiencing problems with Sunflex sliding folding aluminium doors in this very bad weather?

We have triple door (2.5m span) fitted in 5th floor flat, leading to roof terrace. They cost a fortune, and were fabulous until earlier this year, when we started to get water ingress into the kitchen below, during very windy storms. Thought we had a problem with the roof membrane, but that was checked and fine and now it appears to be the door threshold...

Worse is that we now appear to be getting unbelievable condensation, which is causing our timber flooring in front of doors to start peeling. Again, problem seems to be the door threshold...

Anyone else experiencing anything like this? I am new to this forum malarkey...!!

Sorry to hear of your problems, I had a number of Sunflex doors installed last year in a similar situation and have not had any problems.

I guess that you have been in touch with the company that you got them from?
