Skype phone wanted!!

Hi there,

I am after a phone (which would be linked to my PC for skype - but without the need for my laptop to be on.) Also I would like to be able to have 2 lines on the phone - Skype and the normal land line.

Also are there any phones where I can have skype and as a 2nd line have internet voip client internetcalls.com??

Any advice would be very appreciated

Have you considered getting either a 3 PAYG sim or one of their cheap PAYG phones. They have free skype on them and you can use it anywhere you get coverage, rather than just in the house :)

    hi, thanks very much,

We do actually have a skype mobile phone, and I have skype on my BB too, however when we are at home we would like to use a standard tel rather than a mobile (we talk to our families who are all over the world quite a lot) therefore we wouldnt want to spend all of the time on our mobiles.
Ideally I would like a standard phone, where I can have skype and another line but instead of a normal line I would like a VOIP line (internetcalls.com)
    Any idea?
    Many thanks
  • Skype uses a set of protocols to send calls over the internet. you have to either have access through your computer, which is what most people do, or have a mobile phone which has a contract to access the internet.
As far as I know there are no ordinary landline phones which do this.
