none of the 3 for 2's were going through instore at Tesco Bursledon towers, Southampton.this evening. Had to insist at the tills - staff called over supervisor and complied.

Bit of a pain - especially when you're going through the till a few times to get different combinations of offers...

When requesting that the checkout operator or the CS staff take off the discount in store it is amazing how many of them deducted the value of the most expensive item instead of the cheapest item! There must be some mental-block or something - it happened both times I did it, and I asked a different member of staff each time!

    I'm not complaining mind you........

When the last 3 for 2 offer was on, on-line from Tesco Direct, I bought 'In the Night Garden' Bean Toys @ £5.97 each; total = £11.94 for 3.

When I went to pick them up I looked instore - they were priced at £2.97 each, so 3 = £8.91. I got my money back on the 1st lot.

Today I looked instore: Lo & behold, they're 3 for 2 but back up to £5.97 again!

What a farce! But congrat's to anyone who managed to get 3 for 2 on 'realistically' priced toys.
