I was in Tesco this afternoon (glasgow) and checked about the 3 for 2 cos there were no signs up. Turns out that some (the majority I was told) of tesco stores have had a major issue with a computer hitch where the system hasn't been putting the 3 for 2's through. Turns out I had asked the compliance manager as he was hastley putting the signs back up with disclaimers. He told me that the system should update this evening but that all half price or yellow ticketed toys aren't going through yet and would need another update before this would be included in the three for two.

I picked my three items went to the till and they didn't come off. I went to the customer service and they radioed phil the compliance manager and he took them off for me....but he turned to his colleagues and told them to put more disclaimer signs up.

On a positive note he did say should all be cleared up for tomorrow.....
  • well Tesco's in Bradford Canal Rd aren't doing it, just been and left empty handed. No signs up at all in store. I am sure that it is the worst store in England for any kind of deals Tesco's do!!

It is on ALL toys in ALL stores

There are problems with toys that have "yellow labels"(half price, RTC, money off) not going through checkouts / online, this is being looked into and should be rectified by tomorrow.
  • I ordered my things this morning (8.30)as I said earlier and the third item didn't come off. Went in store and bought three items and third item was indeed free. Asked at customer services to phone Tesco Direct and the guy there told me that I had purchased before it went live at 10am. Pointed at that the advertising banner didn't state 10am start and he refunded my third item (although given the wrong amount so still need to rectify it)
Delivery is free over £50 of you collect from store.
