hi everyone.
we need your help.
My wife is going back to college, as our youngest starts school in september.
we have been writing to various people and places, including the government offices. yet everyone so far says that no funding is available.
the course fees are £865 per year. ( she is going back into hairdressing) NVQ2
as you can appreciate this is alot of money, but every corner comes back with a resounding no.
is this correct, surely there must be help somewhere for parents in receipt of family credits to help them with education fees.??????
HELP!!!!

People in receipt of WTC can often get the course fees covered by government help, best bet is to ring the local college and ask to speak to their financial support officer who should be able to help.I no longer work in Council Tax Recovery but instead work as a specialist Council Tax paralegal assisting landlords and Council Tax payers with council tax disputes and valuation tribunals. My views are my own reading of the law and you should always check with the local authority in question.0
