Scottish Hydro Electric THTC
Hi I wondered if someone could help me please. I live in rented accommodation with my family and have done so since 2007. We are supplied by Scottish Hydro and have the Total Heating Total Control tariff with them. We have 4 storage heaters and 3 dimplex heaters which I assumed all ran on the cheaper heating rate. Since 2007 our bills have just gone mad. We pay £120 per month and they want us to pay £200 per month, which we just can do. We have a debt with them of £1300 and they say they are going to disconnect us. Can anyone advise if the dimplex heaters are on the heating tariff too, we don't qualify for any benefits or anything and its getting very worrying.
