Bradford Curry Houses

I am going to Bradford for a few days and wonder if any MSE local provide a link to any two for one offers or even places which have good value evening specials.

Ok. Assuming you haven't already been and gone. Bradford curry houses don't do "all you can eat" things. Not needed as they are already cracking value and price sensitive due to the sheer number of restaurants. See the link below, but beware as with many guides it is not upto date but nevertheless its a useful starting point and gives addresses etc.

When I'm out or have guests I go to the following.
Kashmir - don't go sober, buts its not bad and is quite cheap
Karachi - go when sober, you'll never find it if drunk
Rawal - bit more expensive
International - more expensive, can get rowdy when packed full of asians
Mumtaz - very special, getting close to fine dining

There are a lot of new restaurants on Leeds Road that aren't in the guide books such as Akbars, Zouk

Akbars can't be called new! Its been there on Leeds Road for 14 years now. It's one of the best though.

The Markaz on Centenary Square does both Indian and Arabic food and is consistently fabulous (only ever eaten from the menu not the buffet) - the decor is also lovely. As others have said, Mumtaz is also very good.
