Very poor customer service,ordered goods some 3 weeks ago and it took a week to advise one of the items was out of stock and they were expecting a delivery soon .I was advised to call them to get details of the delivery date ,well when you call that number you are just waiting ages and to date after 4 calls not actually spoken to a person yet! I have no idea if I am getting the item so i have purchased elsewere.

I can really relate to what you are saying only I have had the unfortunate pleasure of speaking to the so called customer service agents. They are so appalling it's beyond belief. They truly are rude and do not give a damn about the fact that Debenhams have cocked up. I'm currently trying to go higher to try to get a refund for items which have not been delivered. I don't think I have ever encountered such shocking customer service.

I too have had a few terrible experiences, the lack of customer service is beyond belief. Even their own store staff will tell you how apalling Debenhams Direct/ on line is. I escalated my complaint and at head office they are far more polite (and you are given a landline number and a complaint reference which makes it easier when you call again and again) but even though I had to make dozens of phone calls and they had to call me back loads of times I received no compensation for my inconvience.
