This offer was sent out by mistake and is not valid for current orders!!!!!! I have just had a call from Tesco after querying the small print - if you look carefully it does say that the offer expires on 24 November.

I have just had a call to say that no points will be added, but we did come to an agreement

I think there might be some confusion between this food offer and the DVD/CDs 500 point offers, which ran last month.

Er, no, the email that arrived this morning clearly states 500 bonus points for Christmas tipples, treats & gifts:

2. Offer valid on a single delivery on or before 23:59 on 24th November 2009.

Confirmed by the tesco's guy who phoned me this afternoon just before 4 pm & who gave me some points for the inconvenience. However, the plot thickens because I have received another email for a very similar offer (Christmas treats & gifts) timed at 4.16 pm which gives an expiry date of:

2. Offer vaild on a single delivery on or before 23:59pm on 15th December 2009

So it is a good idea to screenie your order and the offers T&Cs. I suppose we could phone Tesco and just get them to add them on now over the Phone to stop confusion, not to mention maybe get a double helping in February by mistake
