Allianz Health Care

I have been insured with Allianz health care. I called them and asked them whether a procedure/test/diagnosis would be covered, and they said it would, and I then went to the doctor, and now they are disputing the claim. I have spent months sending emails backwards and forwards. They keep saying that the doctor has not sent them the details they need (by email) and the doctor keeps saying she has sent them. It seems to me to be a delaying tactic, to make me go away. I advise you not to deal with Allianz, they do not have reputable practices.

Just had a look on there website, cant see it on there. Stupid question, are you sure its Allianz?

i suspect the OP mistook this for a United States board... Quite possible that Allianz US offers health cover and the way they talk about going to the doctor etc then seeing if something is covered is not really how private healthcare works in the UK but more like a senario does in the USA.
