Need help with bank overdraft charges

Options
Hi, first of all, thanks for taking the time to look in this thread.

I have just today received 3 overdraft charges, 2 for 25 pounds and 1 for 35 pounds. As a result, this has put me back into an overdraft which i have never requested, will i be charged an overdraft charge for this?

One is for a monthly overdraft fee (i assume that i am expected to pay this every month?) I don't even have an overdraft to my knowledge, so this charge shouldnt exist.

The other 2 were for going into this non existant overdraft charge.

I thought that if the cash wasnt in my bank, then the payment was refused? It seems to me like the bank are taking the !!!! here and this is money which i need back immediatley, as i now have none.

What are my rights here? And are the bank legally allowed to do what they are doing? Obviously they have no moral's.

Thanks for any replies, Jason.

What was the payment for Cheque, Direct debit and standing order are all going to get you a charge and put you into your overdraft.

There's nothing you can do for these three, I'm guess its a direct debit payment you've got 1-25 for the first attempt 1-25 for the second and the £35 for an unauthorised overdraft.

I'm not sure when it comes to card payments though if was this.

Welcome to the real world, spend the banks money, they charge for it.

Cure, don't spend more than you have = no charges.
