bt voice text service- aaaaaaaahhhhhh!!!!!!!

Options
ok so i tried to cancel the voice text thing on my bt landline, got a number and phoned it from work

have to be calling from the phone, too busy to get home, housemate out, she drops her stuff goes out comes in, sleeps, goes out again. phoned the helpline number, they were useless, basically trying to force me onto choose to refuse, i said no and they were making out that anything up to 5 texts a day is not harrasment as i am out when the texts are sent and then bt service keeps phoning me till i answer, supervisor and manager even worse.

so i tried to ring it from home, it only gives me the option to change the times, i want to remove it altogether, no option, i phone nuisance calls, major attitude problem from the operator, line does same, she hangs up on me, i phone through again get told normal way to do it, and cos you have tried it a few times and it didnt work i'll put you through to cs, this idiot doesnt understand such phrases as phone line and keeps asking me to speak up, then gives me the number for deaf assistance (yes, that funny typetalk thing for deaf people with adapted phones. i give the automated thing one last go and now apparently it will be removed in 20 mins.

so far i have been messed around by bt so much it is untrue, has anyone got nigel stagg's email address? he is the managing director for cs according to my bill

You should be able to turn off the BT Voice Text service completely by calling 0800 587 5252 from your BT Line. Choose option 5 the last one offered.

    His address is nigel.stagg<a>bt.com
  • funny how the bt company rep ignores this thread?????
