Lance Armstrong bands

I was wondering if anyone could shed any light on this....(this is a charity that I support = and I hate to see people making personal money out of charities....)

But here is the issue....THe Lance Armstrong Foundation make 'yellow bands' but on ebay you'll see lots of 'other' coloured bands....so I sent off a letter to them asking if these were in deed legit...there response is printed below....is there anyway this can be stopped on ebay? and if so how??? Thank you for writing. Many different organizations are now carrying similar wristbands in other colors. Pink wristbands are available from the Susan G. Komen foundation.

The only legitimate bands with the "Livestrong" motto on them are the yellow "Livestrong" wristbands. Any wristbands that read "Livestrong" in something other than yellow are unauthorized copies, and do not
benefit the Lance Armstrong Foundation! We are aware that some organizations are selling illegitimate wristbands, and that others are selling legitimate bands for more than a dollar. We are aware of the situation
and investigating possible responses.

blue bands are radio one anti bullying bands which were free from their website.

I've just had a look on ebay for Lance Armstrong things - it's my boyfriend's 30th birthday later this year and I thought something to do with Lance would be good. I was so confused by all those bands in different colours. Thanks for asking the question Murtle as I wouldn't have known.

The best thing to do is buy them from the Nike Shop or off the Lance Armstrong website, i bet even some of the yellow ones on ebay are fake! At least then you know the money is going to the right people!
