Hello,
I'd like to buy my mum an MP3 player for Christmas to replace her walkman (yes - cassettes!)
She will only really use it to have audiobooks on, and maybe a very small amount of music, so it won't need much memory.
I know that itunes sell audiobooks but is itunes only compatible with ipods? (Ipods are a bit out of my budget, except the shuffle but I'd prefer something that you can 'see' what is playing). I'll need something that is pretty easy to download to as she is not very computer literate.
I'd really appreciate any advice to help me.

I've had the Sandisk Clip 2g for about six months, Its fab, small & light, eay to use menus & the battery is excellent . I holds lots - 7 audio books on mine & its only half full also it has a free sign up for 2 audio books with audible.co.uk.
Don't underate this because its tiny - the clip is wonderful esp if you are a gym bunny,
I have already had a Sony Walkman NWZ-E436FB - useless, fragile it lasted 2 weeks & a panasonic which also went back in a few weeks because of pooor build quality. I had gone for the bigger names becuase I thought the Clip was too cheap ( @ £25 in Curry's then) but none were as good as the Clip by a long way0
