My CapitalOne credit card was £4 away from its limit so I paid £60 off by debit card. My next payment date is the 6th December, will they still do a direct debit like normal?
Thanks
Thanks

From experience, Cap1 have taken the dd amount (which was set to total payment) even though I had cleared the balance more than 10 days before the dd date.0 -
Thanks for the replies.
So if it's going to have implications with fraud etc., can I just get them to pay any credit into my bank account/send a cheque etc?
Also, as it only has a £100 limit, I don't think I qualify for that protection anyway, it doesn't mess up the normal Visa protection does it (I know that applies to debit cards as well, so I'd guess not)?0
