I have a Belkin Modem Router F5D7632-4 VERSION 4001UK
i am looking for the latest firmware
Can someone inform me where i can download it?
The reason i wish to update the firmware is that i cannot connect to the internet on my new laptop which has windows 7 installed
help please

The firmware it came with is the latest version. Have a look with the link above. Your problem is unlikely to be your router.0 -
Also have you typed in your secuirty passphrase when you try to connect?0

I did visit Belkins website first however found it very difficult to"navigate" so could nt find what i was looking for
think i have got the correct firmware but have not updated router yet---not really sure if the router firmware is the problem

Is "wireless ON" - see laptop.
Is the wireless ON in the router by default, may not be.
WPA security code entered on the laptop correctly, this might be found on a label attached to the back/base of router, i.e. it's not one you make up yourself.
Then Win 7 should just latch onto the wireless signal, if you are in close proximity to it.

I'd strongly advise you not to go fiddling with any firmware unless you are reasonably technically competent because it is quite possible to stop kit from working in such a way it cannot be recovered easily (known as bricking).0
