I have just been refunded for the house by Toys Games and Gifts as they said they had dispatched it on 20/11 but it had still not turned up. My order for the car with Play.com is still saying order taken. (Bad times!) On the bright side, my 2 hammies have arrived and I can collect them from my local Tesco's tonight FOC. (Good times!)

play.com are not getting any more cars in before xmas. give them a call if you want. i spoke to the supervisor because the woman was useless!...definately not coming before then im afraid

I'm also waiting. Order placed on the 27th for skateboard and surfboard. Posted on 28th. Due today.... or not ...

I thought MSE was a nice place until i just read the M&S thread.

Anyway, i am gonna have a break from here. I have got most of what i know i can get anything else is just going to have to wait.

I have far to many family & friends now emailing me and asking me to get them stuff, and ive had to turn them down cos it's to late and too much hard work for me. As much as i'd like to see as many happy little faces as possible, i just cant do it for everyone i know without letting some of them down.

I have pointed them to the stock checker and this thread, thats all i can do and its up to them to put the effort in. If i keep coming on here i'll end up busting a gut trying to help them all.

I'll keep popping on - i know i wont be able to resist but my hunt is over - i lay down my hat. I need a rest.

been to work today so not had time to hamster hunt! lol but came home to find 2 parcels sitting on my doorstep from amazon!!!! not happy nearly £100 worth of stuff there and my 2 gold dust hammies!!!!

Well it's been 24 hours of ups and downs, hammie wise. Yesterday I ended up buying a car from ebay (I know, I know!) cost £33 plus a fiver postage. Am gutted to have wasted the money but little dd age 2 really wants one for Christmas so needs must.

Then, earlier today, Argos called to CANCEL my online order from last week of 2 hammies. They are not having anymore in for home delivery though will still have some coming into stores. Not too bothered though as tesco also called to say that Chunk is awaiting collection from store. So i have enough hamsters to please all 3 dd!

i am resigned to not getting a ball (am not paying the £35 ebay is demanding). I'll get one after Christmas.

Very sensible. They'll all be back in stock after xmas and I am sure all chilldren can wait until then if needs be. I have always told mine that some things just can't always be bought when they want them, it's madness to pay inflated prices.

Does tesco always phone to say the item is in stock when you have reserved online. I have 2 hammies that i reserved for a local store and have a email confirmation that they should be after 4pm on the day. I havent phoned or they havent phoned me. Is that gospel or is it best to check!
