My TRU order just arrived from last Thurs. Mr Squiggles, Chunk & Num Nums packed quite safely in a box. Postman (in a van) said delay was probably their fault not TRU. Didn't have to sign for it though.

that makes me feel better - still waiting for what I ordered on Friday...

    I've been Money Tipped!
Just picked my 2 up from Tesco, had them sent to store. Chunk seems to have the 2 bits of plastic on either side of him that attaches him in the box broken off, does he need these bits? If he does I'm going to have to take him back,

    Thanks

unfortunately my kids are too grown up for these hamsters but I have been intrigued by all the press about them and also this thread.

Now shoot me down in flames BUT i have just been on amazon for something else and happened to have a look at these pets and there are lots that say In Stock, like I said shoot me down in flames if I am wrong but I thought it might help someone.

retires away quietly again awaiting the backlash

No don't worry, this has been asked loads of times before, they are just bits that the securing straps wrap around to secure the hamster in the box, so don't affect the operation of the hamster in any way.
