Hi, my boys were just watching cbbc and they had a go go hamster in a normal hamster house running on a normal hamster wheel, it was working fine.

This is my first post so be gentle!

Nobodys ever mentioned trying them in a normal house or on a normal wheel so they probably will work hun, might be a help to all those struggling to find extras. The ball is definately one of the things that has to be a go go one if you know what I mean.

I have bought my niece a hamster with a house for Xmas.

My theory is that I can add to this for her birthday in Feb if she likes it.

What age are people buying these for?

Thanks - I am looking at that as well but not overly impressed by the free letter - but then i guess you get what you pay for. Last year i typed out an email to the kids and sent it to myself (a different email address that still comes to home which i renamed as Father Christmas) - and then the kids sat and read it with me. That went down quite well - actually i think i was more excited than them (and I wrote it! :rotfl:) but i thought a letter might be a little more real this time and i think my 7 yr old is starting to dis-believe so it may help here a little.
