Nobodys ever mentioned trying them in a normal house or on a normal wheel so they probably will work hun, might be a help to all those struggling to find extras. The ball is definately one of the things that has to be a go go one if you know what I mean.

Ahhhhhh there are soooo many Santa Letter sites - Funny cause i trust the TRU one instantly but am dubious about some of the others.......Guess it's just cause RU are well know - no matter how crap their customer service!!Cost of this Hamster Hunt (inc postage):

I have bought my niece a hamster with a house for Xmas.
My theory is that I can add to this for her birthday in Feb if she likes it.

Thanks - I am looking at that as well but not overly impressed by the free letter - but then i guess you get what you pay for. Last year i typed out an email to the kids and sent it to myself (a different email address that still comes to home which i renamed as Father Christmas) - and then the kids sat and read it with me. That went down quite well - actually i think i was more excited than them (and I wrote it! :rotfl:) but i thought a letter might be a little more real this time and i think my 7 yr old is starting to dis-believe so it may help here a little.Cost of this Hamster Hunt (inc postage):

aw that's cute!my parents used to handwrite ones to leave beside the "eaten" carrot and mince pie...there's actually a video of me finding it when i was 4/5..i nearly wet my pants with excitement...its hilarious!i havent seen an example of the royal mail one...do you know where i could see one?havent looked properly thoughxxx
