    Hi guys

Just looking at a few toy retailer's websites for something which isn't a Go Go Hamster and found that this retailer has all the hamsters in, the funhouse, adventure ball, surfboard and skateboards. However they AREN'T at rrp (more like eBay prices lol!) and delivery is £5.99. However some of you might still be interested....

I got all excited then thinking i'd get a ball :rotfl:I think i'd rather get a ebay one then give a retail outlet charging over RRP. But thankyou I guess it may suit somepeople.
  • Lol I am beginning to realise! I didn't even know what one was when my dd wrote it on her Christmas list - I actually laughed at "a go go hamster" - if only I knew what an impact this would make on my life!

I usually go to the gym after work every day - and with a night out on Sat this week is essential (lol) but today I gave up the gym for a hamster hunting trip to Makro - only to find they had none in stock!!! This hamster hunt is not only going to take up all of my spare time - it may also cause me to gain weight!! Lol Oh the joys!!

Oh no!!!! :rotfl: Its a nightmare. Once upon a time about 5 weeks ago I saw these things in argos book while randomly flicking through for ideas for dd for xmas, I showed her them and she said ooh yeah I like those as she had seen them on TV already, so I thought OK right she can have 1, only a tenner for a hamster, bargain. But what did I discover??? Oh yes, these little blighters are harder to get hold of than gold dust, but by this time the seed was planted in dd's mind and to be honest for me its become a mission I shall not fail!!!!!!!!!!!

Sad but true!!! Get out while you can

Lol it wasn't even really a "must" on dd's xmas list......she also wants a Nintendo DS (with games!), little sunshine doll, My Life Game and several other highly priced items.....so like you when my mum said they were only a tenner in Argos I thought it would be a great idea! Thought I'd get my ds one too!

Now it's become some sort of mission for me too!! Almost as though if they aren't appreciated on Christmas day I will bloody play with them myself!! Lol (I think I secretly want one!).

Even dragged my mum out of work today to take me to Makro (luckily her collegue and boss appreciate the urgency of hamsters!!)

They are taking over the world!!

And to think when I rang Asda today to ask about their stock 2 people there - yes 2!!!! - said "what? What are Go Go Hamsters??!!!!" I nearly screamed!!

That's a smart looking site, but it doesn't appear to cover half of the stores that have listed Go Go Hamster stuff e.g. I don't think that they would have shown Yorkshire Toys and their funhouses yesterday.

I "think" that they only display commissionable outlets.

Other stockcheckers exist  with alarms if we ever get stock  to hear it.

I didnt read this thread for weeks, i saw it was getting long and said - oh i wont look in there it'll end up costing me money.

Then 1 night i had nothing else to do and i wandered in and i have been trapped here ever since.

I want to go to bed im so tired but im staying up to book my tesco delivery for the 23rd and i have some partying to do as well as i will be divorced at midnight so have a few laps of the living room to do and pop a couple of corks on these bottles of champagne i have chilling in the fridge.

There should be a health warning on the title of this thread.
:TIs thankful to those who have shared their :T
:T fortune with those less fortunate :T
:T than themselves - you know who you are!

    Hi All

Just to say it's day 2 of my hamster hunt and still... Nothing : (

I have driven around and round Greater Manchester today stopping off at pretty much every Argos branch, various independent toy shops, various Asdas, various Tescos and 3 TRU branches as well.

I am totally resigned to not getting a car, house etc, but I do need 2 hamsters (preferably two different ones so the kids don't argue).

    Will try again tomorrow.

BTH I have just gone back to the old thread to figure out why we have a new thread.... OMG!!! You were all actually surprisingly restrained considering the extreme provocation. Well done! Hamster hunters united against the world. :j
    Aims for 2014
Drink a glass of water a day, Empty handbag at least once a week, Continue "not putting things off" and tackle things head on, Treasure people around me, Stay healthy and well away from hospitals, Continue to declutter/decorate house slowly and not get stressed because I can't do everything at once. :D

I think there wil be lots of parents playing with these on christmas day, meanwhile all the kids will have lost interest after 5 mins!!! I am tempted to get mine (I mean DD's) out of the box for a test drive tonight!! :p

My DD has a DS and she loves it, actually it was mine but she seems to have acquired it. How old are your 2? Mine is 4 and has been able to work the DS for about a year and there are lots of games suitable for every age.

Good luck on your hunt, thank goodness for understanding bosses eh? :T
