    Do you think the carriers & beds being instock was character getting stock early or do you think they'll still get stock on 18th??

    Well, that's always been the plan that they would be getting the accessories (beds and carriers) on the 18th, but whether they attempt to list them or distribute them out to shops is anyones guess. I would reckon that if they couldn't list the playsets because of the website crashing with everyone F5ing, then realistically would they risk listing them so near to christmas when they need their website to be up and running 24/7 to catch every second of the christmas trade. I think if I was them I'd be sending them out to retail outlets.

    As far as deliveries of any items on the character website, they have this info on:

    CHRISTMAS DELIVERY INFORMATION: We can accept orders up to 1pm on Tuesday 22nd December and you will receive them before Christmas.

    desperate to find a Mr Squiggles at a decent price (like most i know) anyone know if any more stock due in anywhere - help :-)

    If you are on foot then your nearest TRU will be your best bet but you will need to get there VERY early as people will start queueing at the crack of dawn!

    I phoned my nearest TRU which is in Swansea and they are getting hamsters in tomorrow morning and do not reserve items so you have to be there.

    Not sure if it's too late for you to phone your nearest store to check but it may save you wasted journey if they not getting any in.

    Internet wise you need to keep your computer turned on day and night and make sure you are registered with sites like TRU, John Lewis, Woolworths etc so that if you do make an order you don't faff around opening an account and then find your item is out of stock before you got a chance to pay!
    Went to the paper shop - it had blown away.

    I was in Argos this afternoon (about 2pm) to pick up some Sylvanian Orders.

    Enquired if they had any in stock - she said they had over 1000+ available for Home Delivery. Order can be taken instore but delivery is £5.00.

    Maybe worthwhile checking with your local Argos if they can do the same.

    :eek:wish they'd make up their minds & let us know what happening..........can reserve, cannot reserve, outta stock for delivery!!!:eek:

    Must be to stop people reserving 50 and selling codes
    even though I have finished my hamster hunt, I am still here.... why?? :rotfl:

    I am pretty annoyed if this is correct! Argos cancelled my delivery of 2 hammies only 2 days ago as they had oversold on the website. They said that they would not be having anymore at all for home delivery only collection from stores! They refunded me.

    Don't forget that Argos home delivery stock availabilty is regional so one person could be viewing the argos website and see that it is available for home delivery in their area, whilst someone can also be viewing the same website and it can say not available for home delivery. I think the website can tell from your computer's IP address or something like that which region you are located in. Its the same with for example, the tesco website, we were all looking at the site a couple of weeks ago and someone said the hammies were 9.95 whereas on my site they were 9.97. This was because the website recognised our IP address locations and the 'price check' cost was related to price matching with the competition in the different areas. Neither of us were logged in to the site so it must be the site recognising the computer location.

    My son has just said he likes the ball aaarrrrrrrhhhhhhh.

    I have a hamster on the way from Amazon as suspected he would want one but hadn't planned on need extras:rolleyes:

    Might be an early morning trek to Toys R Us. Having they been getting balls in stock or just other items?
