    Quick update. We've managed to 'reserve' one at Pughs Garden Centre in Radyr. They are bred by a girl who works there, who was recommended to me by a hamster club! She handles them and does it as a hobby I believe. So looking good. Thanks for your advice.
  • is that Nikki? She's lovely if so! Looked after my two when I was on hols last year. Her hams are lovely and friendly! Can't believe I forgot to mention Pugh's! They're fab!

    Yes, that's her. Got a female syrian from her - lively little thing, easy to handle - no biting and very friendly. So far so good. Would not consider anywhere else for small animals, having been there. Also got a great secondhand cage - it's huge, Hamster Heaven I think it's called. So very happy daughter.
