Replacing old gas boiler

Hi
I've asked engineer for a quote for replacing old gas boiler and 7 radiators and was given the quote £4000. The reason they said is that a vertical boiler and cost of the boiler itself it's almost £3000. If asked for move a boiler to upstairs and put a horizontal they've told me the price will be almost the same.

Is that quote is correct?

Good afternoon: more quotes are in order from RGIs recommended to you by a source you trust...a £3000 boiler. What is the full specification?

a good top class worcester boiler is approx 700/1200 quid. which is good enough for probably 95% of houses.
in fact i dont think they make one above 1500 quid?
(normal domestic boiler).
