I used to have one and paid for items under the 9months interest free due to the value of purchase. What they don't tell you is that after 9 months if the purchase isnt completely paid off they lump on interest for the total price and not what is left!

The do tell you in the small print.

You just have to make sure ALL the balance is paid off.

I just dont bother with store cards full stop.

I used to work in JJB and we were pressured to get people to open store cards - even more so when they figured they still got to hit their targets even if the card was declined.

These stores charge up to nearly 30% interest - its just not worth it !!!!
