I saw an ad today for a fixed term deposit account with the Islamic Bank of Britain which may be of interest to a friend of mine who lives overseas but I've got a question which some of you may be able to help with. How can I find out if it's covered by the FSA £50,000 guarantee?

Look up Islamic Bank of Britain in Google.co.uk.

Then go to its web site
