10 years ago, newly widowed, I was a muppet. I took out a 20k loan/mortgage from the telly ads. I have paid it since then. I received my first statement this year, previously it was £25 for a statement. On this statement I notice that I had PPP which I believe is the same or similair to PPI at a cost of £2500.00 and it lasted for only 5 years of a 20 year loan. I have also now paid £21k and still owe 24k. I also noticed that on a payment of £305.00 per month only £5 comes of the total borrowed the rest is interest. I realise that I was stupid but only now do I think that this may be something I can look into.Is there anyone on this site who can point me in the right direction to have this sorry mess investigated.
I realsie that I may also have to live with it, if this is the case perhaps my sorry tale can be of benefit to someone else.
