replace door with bead curtain

BG made me take off the door to the cupboard in my kitchen where my warm air heating unit is, it was either that or cut a hole through the outside wall, so now my kitchen cupboard is doorless:eek:.

Would BG consider a bead curtain hanging in the door opening a door or not?

May I ask what sort of Warm air heater you have .
Why have BG just now asked for a removal of door, new installation?

Mine is in the cupboard in the hall , no windows and a door .

So you have had a perfectly working boiler for twenty years
AND now someone told you to 'take the door off'!!


On the understanding that you have survived 20 years
Stick door back , remove door before you have the boiler serviced .

Ps I have my boiler serviced by the firm who originally installed boiler
don't know how long ago , but we have been here over eight years.

Do you really want a bead curtain 'half' hiding an ugly boiler.
