hardship claim

    the 1st letter requesting the statements was sent on 6/10/09 then i sent the 2nd letter telling them i wanted to claim back 3,209 under hardship on 2/1109 then we filled hardship form on 23rd/11/09 .i did speak to someone today who told me if i ring back next wednesday they would have heard from the courts to see how they stand on hardship claims

  • Technically they have til the beginning of next year to respond ie 8 weeks.

  • i just spoke to some one at abbey im no further foward they say they are waiting to here from the F.S.A before making any decisions could they be just stalling or could they be telling the truth.

    Sounds as if they are telling the truth.

    At the moment, the legal teams from ALL the banks are working together to create a single template letter that they will all use to issue to customers RE Financial difficulty.
