Bye bye to my friend Minty

I've just closed my mint card but feel really sad :(..We've been through alot together Minty and i but it's all part of my "living within my means" master plan. 9 years with mint 12000K limit....all gone.

Competition is intense and attracting new business is expensive. The card companies need to retain their best customers, so almost everything they do is designed to make you feel that way.

In reality, we're just account numbers to them. Once you realise that, you'll be able to forget loyalty and exploit them with a clear conscience ;)

Poor Minty, you should of just reduced the credit limit and kept him in the family as a backup :p
