Burning a DVD from I-Tunes ?

Have been trying to burn some of my camcorder stuff (That I have put onto my I-Tunes) onto DVD but not been to successful.Have tried a program ROXIO 6 but it doesnt recognise the MPEG4 (H264 ?) my movies are in.
Have heard that I can burn a DVD using I-Tunes but when I tried it said that due to other burning CD/DVD programs some of the parts are missing and to re-install I-tunes.Have took Roxio off 6 my laptop but still get the same message.
Should I just re-install I-Tunes or is there a better way of burning DVD's other than this ?.

Thanks
